Product Details

This is all new in 2026

With this kit, you can fully test the warm-up regulator without running the engine or removing the WUR from the engine.

This is what is included and why:

  • Adapter fitting and clear hose for a flow test. You must have good flow for the WUR to work properly at speed.
  • Short switched jumper lead: To run the fuel pump at the relay plug on the W116, W123, and early W126.
  • A long 5-foot jumper leads to run the fuel pump on the R107 - relay plug is behind the glove box.
  • Special plug with alligator clips to power WUR directly from the battery without starting the engine.
  • Video instructions by Kent for using these four items ONLY. The full pressure test sequence is NOT included.

Kent prefers to run all tests without starting the engine, both for fire safety and to minimize exposure to exhaust fumes. This accessory kit will allow you to do that on all Mercedes K-Jetronic fuel-injected engines.

You can also use the WUR plug jumper lead to test the bimetallic strip's operation on the workbench.
