Make sure this is the correct kit for your Mercedes BEFORE ordering. We have an upgrade kit for the earlier transmission that includes a new pan, but when servicing the later 722.9, you do not need to replace the pan. This kit contains a new Mercedes triple media filter, pan gasket, six new stretch bolts, a green standpipe, and two magnets.

PLEASE NOTE: The video instructions included are for the earlier transmission conversion. Just disregard the sections talking about and showing the pan replacement. All other procedures are the same.
To do this service yourself, you will need a pressure tank and hoses, fittings, and a valve to fill your transmission from below. See our fill kit below. Sorry, we do not carry the special green fluid that you will need. 6 to 7 liters for a drain and fill. 9 to 10 liters for a full power drain.
