You can do it without this fitting but you will have to try to get one hose end of your tester under the engine to hook up to the WUR.

This fitting is not included in our deluxe pressure tester or the builder's kit. If you plan on pressure testing your 1976 to 1985 M110 fuel system, this fitting is highly recommended.

The email questions from owners trying to get their old fuel-injected 1970 to 1993 Mercedes running right drive him crazy. Most follow a pattern, and most will require a fuel injection system flow and pressure test to troubleshoot the problem.

1976 to 1980 450 V8 and 6.9 2-Hole Fuel System Accumulator

It does not fit all 450SL, 450SLC, 450SE, and 450SEL models. Some had a single-hole accumulator. You MUST remove the FID cover and inspect it before ordering.

This accumulator was unique in the mid to late 1970s. It was used on all 6.9s but only some 450 V8 models. That is why you MUST know which type you have BEFORE ordering. You can clearly see the two threaded holes coming into the front of the accumulator housing.

1976 to 1985 R107 Fuel Distributor Inlet Fuel Feed Hose

Fits 450SL, 450SLC, and 380SL with K-Jetronic Fuel Injection

As a safety preventative measure, replace this hose if it shows signs of hardening or cracking. This hose is under 90 psi; if it cracks and spews fuel, you can have an instant engine fire.
