Modified by Kent to fit all W124 sedan, coupe, and wagon instrument clusters from 1986 to 1995. There are no off-the-shelf led bulbs that will not short out in the W124. Kent modifies the bulbs he sells here to fix the short problem!!!

There are two main reasons to install instrument cluster LED light bulbs. They give off more light to the instruments and then run a lot cooler. We offer them for the W124 in bright white and amber. If you can not decide on which color see the images below for a side-by-side comparison.

The three bults below right to left are the stock incandescent, amber and bright white.

Below you will see the cluster lit up first with orignal bulbs, then amber LED (middle image), then finally brightr white LED.

Check the temperature difference after on 20-minutes!  Incandescent bulbs reach over 100 degrees F while the LED stays in the lower 70 degrees. And this is out in the open. Inside the dash the original bulbs with get even hotter.

This is a new release in March of 2025. The reason it has taken so long for us to come up with LED dash lights for the W124 is due to the fact they had to be the EXACT size as the original bulb and still be bright enough.
