Re-balance after wheel repaint job?

Repainted my 300SD wheels with the kit from Mercedes Source
(Does a great job). Do I need to have the wheels balanced after this?
Removed several years worth of brake residue(on the backside of wheel) and was wondering if this would have any influence on balance.
