The email questions from owners trying to get their old fuel-injected 1970 to 1993 Mercedes running right drive him crazy. Most follow a pattern, and most will require a fuel injection system flow and pressure test to troubleshoot the problem. In recent years, Kent's goal has been to develop an accurate and leak-free tester for under $100. He found that all the cheap and even some of the expensive testers don't have accurate gauges, and 90 percent of the cheaper Chinese units leak fuel at multiple locations. His $99 tester has arrived, but to meet the price point, you must do some simple assembly work yourself. How to Assemble Kent's Fuel System Pressure Test Builder's Kit

The kit includes the following:

  • Feed hose with non-liquid filled gauge and pressure release ( tested and ready to use)
  • 24 inches of 1/4 inch 300psi fuel injection hose
  • Aluminum T-fitting with screw-on and screw-off fitting for fuel hose to gauge
  • Heavy-duty shut-off valve with hose barb fittings
  • Two critical hose end swivel fittings ( sourced from Cohline made in Germany)
  • 10 correct size pinch clamps
  • Pinch clamp special tool
  • Fittings and sealing washers to attach to K-Jetronic V8 and KE-Jetronic 6 cyl and V8T
  • Pressure release fuel capture bottle
  • On-demand video assembly instructions

Adapter Kit for Fuel Pressure Testing D-Jetronic Fuel Injected Engines

To be used with our Version 3 tester when testing 1970 to 1975 Mercedes with electronic fuel injection.

It is included with our deluxe pressure tester but not with the builder's kit. You will need this attachment to hook up our tester to the fuel rail on a D-Jetronic V8 engine.

Special Fitting for Fuel Pressure Testing a M110 6 Cylinder K-Jetronic Engine

You can do it without this fitting but you will have to try to get one hose end of your tester under the engine to hook up to the WUR.

This fitting is not included in our deluxe pressure tester or the builder's kit. If you plan on pressure testing your 1976 to 1985 M110 fuel system, this fitting is highly recommended.
