It is difficult to find a good inline fuel heater for running vegetable oil in your old diesel. This is a lightly used VEGTHERM unit that was available years ago during the height of the veggie craze. The other electrical components are new. You will need an understanding of auto wiring to complete the installation. NO instructions are included to convert your engine to run on used cooking oil.
Product Details

This is easy to mount inline on the fuel hose leading to the injection pump. You will need a separate 30-amp relay to run this unit, along with a switch to turn it on and off. Kent will include some additional wires and tags on the various wires, so you will know where they go. No terminals or butt connectors are included.
The relay itself has a built-in fuse for added protection. The wire diagram for the relay is as follows:
- Red wire - 12 volt power source in ( can be directly from the battery)
- Black wire - goes to good, solid ground on the chassis
- Blue wire - power OUT from the relay when switched on to power the vegtherm
- White wire - 12-volt power in from the switch to activate the relay.
Note: A wire from the keyed power source (usually inside the fuse box) should run through the switch, then to the relay's white wire. You want it to turn off when you turn your key off. NO ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS OR SUPPORT ARE INCLUDED. You need to be familiar with doing an SVO conversion in order to use this kit.

You should also be running an accessory electric fuel pump to pull the veggie from the tank up to the engine compartment. If you purchase our universal boost pump kit there will be a location to mount the relay and the switch that are included in this kit.
