If you have a W116, W126, W201 or W124 diesel, see our "universal kit" offered below. NOTE: This special kit is assembled to order. Please allow 3 to 5 days before expecting it to be shipped. Kent first learned about the advantages of using a low-pressure fuel boost pump on an old diesel when he was converting those engines to run on straight vegetable oil. Want better starts, more power, easier fuel system maintenance? Watch the YouTube video below for a demonstration and full explanation.

The kit comes prewired, predrilled, and assembled ready to install in your 1977 to 1985 240D, 300D, 300CD, or 300TD. In our newest version, Kent will make all the wire splices and connections. It may be a little "gangley" to handle, but you will not need to make any wire splices or crimps when installing this in a W123. Having this unit all assembled and wired for you will save you one to two hours of work, depending on your electrical wiring skills. There is no cutting into the original wiring, and you only need to drill three small holes in the left side inner fender panel ( you could glue the parts on with E6000 if you did not want to drill and remove the parts later).
Effective 8/15/25 at 3 pm we are offering a simple upgrade to this kit. The mounting plate will have an extra hole drilled it in. This will alow you to add another switch in the future to power another component. Another relay can be quickly added by snapping it on to the side of the other relay. Kent offers a relay and switch kit for this. See related products below.
The entire installation installs in the engine compartment with easy access. You will not need to work in the back of the car, nor will you need to raise it up. You will have to install longer fuel hoses to route them to and from the boost pump. We can not cut the hose to exact lengths, as different models may require hose variations. Adequate fuel hose and four new clamps are included. DSLBOOST
