Yes, that is correct. These are the same parts on all 272 V6 and 273 V8 from 2006 to 2013. That is a few million cars that are now all aging, and many have not had these parts replaced. I am not sure why many shops do not even recommend this service before something fails! WARNING! On these engine early belt failure can occur if you do not use the OEM belt!

Very good access to do this work on a V6. On a V8 it is a little tight but you can still replace these parts without having to remove the electric fan.
RECOMMENDATION: Since you have to remove the belt and the middle idler pully, now would be a good time to replace the thermostat as a preventative measure. Please note the thermostat for the V6 is different from the V8. You can purchase one of our thermostat kits below ( which also comes with video instructions). 272273
